A. Originating Summons

1. On sealing a plenary summons, special summons, or summary summons (Order 2, Rules 1(2), 1(3) or 2), and filing a copy

Note: If after payment the sale is not completed and the property is sold to another purchaser, credit is given for the fee already paid on the abortive sale against the fee payable on the completed sale; no refund is otherwise made.

  • Next-of-kin/heir-at-law where ancestor is parent → €17.00

  • Common ancestor is great-grandparent or more remote → €55.00

29. On ascertaining pursuant to an order: (a) outstanding estate of a deceased person; (b) property subject to a trust/mortgage/charge; (c) partnership assets – for every €100.00 of value

Fee: €2.50

Excludes bad/irrecoverable debts; includes sums paid after commencement. Only one fee chargeable for any particular property or moneys under items 26–29 inclusive.

30. On settling a scheme

  • Charity management / amount ≤ €1,500.00 → Fee: €75.00
