Where to submit your setting down docket

There is a €250 fee to submit your setting down docket.

Completing your setting down docket

Your setting down docket must include the following:

  • date and venue for the hearing
  • full title of the case
  • record Number of the case
  • date the Notice of Trial was served
  • cause of Action
  • plaintiff’s Solicitors Name & Address
  • defendant’s Solicitors Name & Address
  • details of how long the matter will take and any additional information (for example whether there is video technology required)

You will also need to provide the central office with copies of all documentation relevant to your case.

Depending on your case type, it may be possible for your hearing to be listed outside of Dublin (see order 36). Personal injuries hearings may be set down at a provincial venue where the plaintiff resides or where the injury took place. Please see our High Court lists page for more information about getting your case listed for court and where your case will be heard.
