Enforcing decisions in the District Court

You can apply to the District Court if you need enforcement of a decision made by an external public body or state agency.

Enforcement applications are suitable when:

  • Someone has not carried out a direction as stated in the decision or acted in accordance with the decision.
  • You need the court to step in to make an order which legally obliges the action or direction to be carried out.
