Gandon Building entry gate works (Part of the Gandon Building fire and accessibility upgrade works currently ongoing)

The Office of Public Works (OPW) are carrying out a programme of accessibility improvement works for the entrance gates of the Four Courts during the long vacation.

Wheelchair-accessible gates are being connected. While this is happening, the associated turnstile will need to remain closed. The works and potential impact on access card holders are detailed below.

Chancery Place and Luas Side Entrances

One turnstile will be available for both entry and exit during certain phases of the works.

These disruptions will occur intermittently, and signage will be in place.

Fire safety and accessibility upgrade works to ground floor, Gandon Building, the Four Courts continues:

The Office of Public Works (OPW) have started these upgrades which include major refurbishment works to the accessible toilet facility and the adjacent male toilets on the ground floor. To progress these, and the fire safety upgrades, you may see and hear works being carried out along the ground floor of the Gandon building and to entry routes into the complex.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused to court users while we make improvements to the building to provide more modern court facilities for now and the future.
