New District Court Family Law Forms are live from today Tuesday, 3 June 2025. The new forms are for:
- Domestic Violence
- Maintenance (including Application to recover arrears of maintenance, and Vary / Discharge maintenance)
- Arrangements for Children (including Guardianship, Custody, and Access)
Please note that from this date all Applicants/Legal Practitioners making any further or new submissions should complete the new application form and file it with the Court office.
Key Changes:
The key changes to the process for applicants and legal practitioners are:
- All Applicants / Legal Practitioners will need to complete the new application form and file it with the Court office
- Courts Service will complete the Summons / Notice of Application in all instances
- Courts Service control the Assignment of Court dates in all instances
Where to access new forms:
The new application forms are interactive PDFs that can be filled in on a computer or mobile device before printing OR printed as a blank form and filled in by hand. Forms can be downloaded on Courts.ie per the below table.
