Kilkenny - South Eastern Circuit - Order to Extend Sittings - November 2026

CIRCUIT COURTSOUTH EASTERN CIRCUIT

I, Patricia Ryan, President of the Circuit Court, in pursuance of the powers vested in me by Section 10 of the Courts of Justice Act 1947, and having consulted the permanent Judge of the South Eastern Circuit, and by other powers conferred on me do hereby Order the following:

1. That the sitting of Kilkenny Circuit Court scheduled to begin on Tuesday 17^th November 2026 shall begin instead on Tuesday 3^rd November 2026 and shall continue for as long as it takes to deal with criminal and other business returned for Kilkenny.
2. That this Order shall be published as soon as possible on www.courts.ie
