Correct identification of Deponent in a Jurat

This jurat is correctly executed as it clearly demonstrates that the deponent's identity was verified through personal acquaintance by the official, as denoted by the completion of section (a). Consequently, section (b) is intentionally struck out to unequivocally indicate that third-party identification was not employed in this instance

Correct identification of Deponent in a Jurat

This jurat is properly executed as it clearly establishes that the deponent was not personally known to the official. Instead, identification was reliably made by a third party, Peter McNally, whose signature confirms personal knowledge of the deponent. This is evidenced by the completion of section (b) and the striking out of section (a), thus avoiding any potential ambiguity in the attestation process.

Incorrect identification of Deponent in a Jurat

This jurat is incorrectly completed because it fails to definitively indicate the method of the deponent's identification. Both section (a) and section (b) remain unstruck, leading to ambiguity about whether the deponent was personally known to the official or identified by a third party. For precise and lawful verification, one of the sections should have been clearly struck out to indicate the chosen method of identification.
